Free Google Business Profile setup
One-time setup. Uses Google’s free API (no Ayrshare or paid tools). You need to own/manage the Google Business Profile you post to.
- Open Google Cloud Console → create or select a project.
- Enable APIs: search and enable My Business Account Management API and My Business Business Information API and Google My Business API (Local Posts).
- APIs & Services → Credentials → Create Credentials → OAuth client ID → Application type Web application.
- Add authorized redirect URI:
https://developers.google.com/oauthplayground - Copy Client ID and Client secret into the form below.
- Open OAuth 2.0 Playground → gear icon → check “Use your own OAuth credentials” → paste Client ID & secret.
- In the left list, find and select scope:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage
Click Authorize, sign in with the Google account that manages the business, Allow. - Click Exchange authorization code for tokens → copy the Refresh token.
- Find your location resource name (see button below after saving client id/secret, or from Business Profile). Format looks like:
accounts/123/locations/456 - Paste refresh token + location name below → Save → Test.
